The programme for the 2020 annual FACE Conference is beginning to take shape with a range of innovative and informative sessions as well as a number of carefully curated symposia and panel discussions. Our line-up of keynote speakers is nearly complete and we’ll be announcing them shortly (keep an eye on the FACE Twitter account and monthly e-bulletin!)
If you haven’t done so already, we encourage you to submit an abstract to share your work with our vibrant community of practice. The FACE community brings together practitioners, researchers, and policymakers working in a variety of contexts and settings to disseminate research and develop practice in access, social justice, and lifelong learning. The first call for abstracts closes on April 5th and to enjoy the preferential ‘early bird’ rate you’ll need to register by April 26th.
For presenters, the conference provides an opportunity to present work to a multi-professional audience and engage in debate and discussion with colleagues from the UK and overseas. After the conference, all presenters will be invited to submit a paper based on their presentation or session for inclusion in the peer-reviewed FACE publication. For both presenters and delegates, the conference provides a great opportunity for practice development, learning from the findings of leading-edge research, and networking with like-minded people in a collegiate setting.
For further details on how to submit an abstract and register from the conference, visit our dedicated FACE Conference 2020 website.
